Depends on your needs. These are excellent if you have two rows of seating or perhaps a very wide spread between listening positions. If you have a single couch you may be better served by the rp500 or rp600 series pointed directly at the listening position.

They're also quite popular where you can't afford the space for bookshelves to stick out, as they hang quite easily on a single keyhole mount. But putting them directly behind your listening position in close proximity wouldn't be the technically optimum way to deploy these, although many people do and are quite happy with them.

Got the first gen of these a few months ago for rear speakers upgrading from the 40m, or whatever the cheaper bookshelf speakers are, and wow it was a huge upgrade. I highly recommend this product.

Amazing rear or side speaker. To get. Allie don't stick them too close to the corner. Bookshelf's aren't great for rear or side speakers unless they're several feed behind you, which most of us don't have. These get nice environmental diffuse sound for a larger seating area and closer walls to couch. Just make sure to use the equalizers to match tone as best you can. Klipschs are typically bright speakers

I'm not sure I completely agree with all this but I would add, these are not ideal if you plan(or have) to move up to object based soundtracks.

Good info! Where would you place these to make it beneficial for your second row of seats?

I'd love to get these, have come close to pulling the trigger multiple times, but with the odd shape I'd have to totally redo how I have my surrounds mounted. Just gonna hold out for an RP600M deal.
