I have had a pair of JBL earbuds that cost me $30 in daily use for more than 5 years. Garbage? You sure?

I bought tune buds from this seller a month ago. Refurbished but indistinguishable from a brand new product.

The live pro 2 are the deal. They retail for 150 new on Amazon, and reviews look good.https://www.rtings.com/headphones...20adaptive

For $5 more, you can get the Live Pro 2, which is better IMO

Trust me you are lucky. I ordered them 4 different times, all DoA
I bought two pairs a few years ago and two pairs last time this deal was posted a month ago and zero were DOA--both pairs from 3 years ago still work fine but one doesn't hold a charge for as long. I think you're doing something wrong if you are 0 for 4...did you try to charge them? LOL

Do you need to download an app to get the most use out of these? I want to be able to cut off the touch features since without having to download an app.

I have to agreed with this comment. Bought the Flex bud from last sale refurbished $20 Harman Audio via Ebay. Within the first week I already have issue with case battery won't fully charge. Earbuds won't stay in ear no matter which silicone I switch to (this could be subjective), the sound is okay. For $20 I would recommend buying the Soundcore P20i or A20i as they have better sound and battery life too. Both of my Soundcore earbuds has zero issues and I use them daily at work for 5-7 hours straight for almost a year now.

I think they are also affiliated with AKG. Those are S*** too.

Yes you will need to download JBL app to pair them with your phone.

I purchased Tune Buds last time they were available for $20. Overall they surpassed my expectations. Good sound, excellent battery life and decent noise cancelation. I personally prefer actual buttons, but touch controls on these are not bad at all. My pair arrived in like new condition. I've been using them daily for about a month now and haven't experienced a single issue. I have better sounding buds (M&D, AKG, Audiotechnica) bud I've been using these almost exclusively since I received them because of how light and comfortable they are. Two minor shortcomings (considering the price) are that there is no volume control on the buds and they only come with 3 different pairs of silicone tips. I'm actually considering ordering a pair of Live Pro 2 as they are supposed to be better and I don't own any buds with the stem.
