From their unlock policy it says if the phone is on the Verizon network it'll unlock after 60 days but if it is on the T-Mobile or ATT network it'll take 12 months. How do I know which network it's on?

"For all cellphones Activated with TracFone on the T-Mobile or AT&T networks on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked upon customer request after twelve (12) months of active TracFone service.

For all cellphones Activated with TracFone service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically, sixty (60) days after Activation."
Total Wireless is owned by Verizon, so it is under Verizon network. Google this topic, then you will see the answer is Verizon network. For the app, with WiFi disable & mobile data is on, run the app called "Speed Test & Wifi Analyzer" by Ookla, the app will show which network you are on during the test. For this phone, it will be Verizon.

Since the question came up, this seems to have the
Qualcomm SM7435-AB Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset:
https://www.gsmarena.com/motorola...-13111.php
which implies it has the X62 modem:
https://www.qualcomm.com/products...e-platform

Should be pretty good, modem wise.

Don't know why everything is ok , added the phone is $0 but when I added the plan ($55 or $65), phone value came back to normal price, not $0 anymore. Weird.

Don't add the plan $55, it won't work for that. The right plan for this deal is $65 unless they pump up to a higher plan.

For those who have a Tracfone number, I got this message "The number … is not eligible for this offer."

That's the main reason I buy it.

Thanks, makes sense. That part kinda confused me in the policy.

Was able to do sms code verification using a different number. But they add $15 state and regulatory fees. Total was over $80...not happy and have not pulled the trigger yet.

Anyone had luck getting the phone free on second line too? I can see that the phone is free on the first line, but charges full price on the second line.

I have had this phone for about a month. Its a good phone. Certainly not worth 249.00.
But if you get it for the 65-70, yes, good deal.
It is "Quite Narrow". Only 72mm in width. Not sure if I like it at this point. May give it to my 14 year old. Even though its 6.6" screen, the width makes it seem like a much smaller phone.
Hopefully Black Friday and holidays will have good deals on higher end phones
