I purchased a Moto G Power 2024 from Straight Talk and had the same unlock problems for 10 days. Motorola worked with ST on a solution and and as far as I could see in the Moto forum all devices (mine too) is now unlocked.
I got that deal too. What was the solution to unlock the bootloader? Do you have a link to the Moto forum for unlocking the bootloader?

Go to Google voice on your computer, not your phone. Go to settings. Under your account you should see the option to "unlock". If you click it you'll be told it's $3 to unlock. Pay the $3 and your GV number is unlocked. Once it's unlocked you can now port your GV number when you activate your phone.

For those that used a GV number to port in. How long did it take? Did I do it correctly? Paid $3 to unlock GV number first. Went to activation page through desktop. GV number for account number. Selected "OTHER" for carrier. Voicemail pin for pin number. Google's address for address.
Immediately after status check said "We encountered an issue while processing your port. Please contact our Customer Care Center in order to resolve this issue."
Now under lines/devices it says "Activation in Progress Your device is in the process of being activated. Please wait five minutes......."

Also. After the phone unlocks and I go back T-mobile will I be able to swap in my T-mobile SIM and go if I have a financed phone under that line/number? We have 3 lines. Two have financed phones and one is unassigned/unused. Will they require me to pay off the full balance of my financed phone if I try to use this phone under that line and if so is their a way around that (ie swapping my old primary to the unused line to continue making payments and putting the edge on my primary)?
T-Mobile does not care what phone you use on the account/line as long as it is unlocked and works. You can mix and match. You can even have two EIPs on a line now. But you cannot pay them off earlier any longer (for new EIPs), or you erase the remaining credits. Move the phones around or use others within the account as you please.

I'm not getting the verification code. Can I use a number for the verification code and use a different phone number when it comes to activate?

I started activation and porting process 14th night, the next day I got a human call from TW saying port has been approved but the activation will complete on 17th. I asked why the 2 day delay and he said because GV number I am porting is a landline. Interesting that before completion of porting, my new moto can make outgoing calls and texts (that show the sender number as my GV number) but not incoming.

Also adding that the GV number I am porting is not the one I used for ID verification at order time.

If you ported from Metro, and your Metro account is already suspended. Note that the Metro port out pin is only valid for 7 days (mine was expired as I ordered the phone two weeks ago). You can call Total Wireless (800) 353-1842 (choose 7 for TW); ask the rep to transfer to the port department. TW rep will call Metro port department to get the new pin for you. You do need the metro phone still to receive Metro verification code and your Metro account pin. My Metro account has been suspended for a month, still ported out just fine.
My unlocking date is 12/15 as I activated the phone today.

2 days delay is a blessing, MetroPCS took several days or weeks if you don't call in the porting department to pressure them.

Try to text UNLOCK to 611611 to see whether you get an unlocked confirmation date or not.
