Yes Google voice worked for verification without unlocking it once get device pay $3 to unlock GV for porting or try activate with new number YMMV or port different number on activate page.

These Automatically unlock with only 1 month service after Activation on 60th day can confirmed unlock date by texting UNLOCK to 611611

Yeah it will work with Tracfone but it might not unlock if don't wait the 60 days since unlock policy July 1st "The cellphone was activated with TracFone service by purchasing and redeeming an airtime plan on that specific phone ("Activation")"

I got Free Total Galaxy A54 and i put my BYOP Tracfone sim it deactivated and reactivate the phone to my Tracfone account with my BYOP sim.

Luckily i waited till it unlocked at 60 days before attempting to do that.

HELPPPPPP ... LYCA refuses to release my #.. hung up on me 5+ times. Says i dont call enough people so they cant verify me? BIgass class action comin i feel. In the meantime, how can i get a cheap # to port so i can use this fone in 60day

Do I need to call for unlock? I thought it was auto unlock.

But when I sent a msg to 611611, it told me call at the unlock date. But I won't have the service at that time(won't renew past 1 month)


What will happen if I not in USA at that time? Can I unlock via email?

yes each line needs a different port in number because it's a separate line

You can't do anything to force unlocking - it's now automatic & you no longer have to call or enter codes.
Text message is from old system, they haven't updated it even though they've been auto unlocking 2024 phones for several months.

answer is maybe, some people have had to port, some were able to activate by getting a new number. It's very YMMV.

Damn, it only lets me add one A54 at a discount. Any others I add (yes, adding the $65 plan) charges me full price for the second+ A54's. Any way around this?

No, this is on the first order. The page says up to 4 on the A54's, but I'm unsure if anyone has ordered that many with the discount succesfully.
