Yes Google voice worked for verification without unlocking it once get device pay $3 to unlock GV for porting or try activate with new number YMMV or port different number on activate page.

These Automatically unlock with only 1 month service after Activation on 60th day can confirmed unlock date by texting UNLOCK to 611611

You can try to start from a new incognito window. Try to see if it show you discount, then when ask for id verification, log in your previous account and let me know if this works

Went to the total wireless shop today, they said in the shop you would get the deal at $65 all inclusive (taxes as well) but said the phone will unlock after three months.

Just curious how I can go to the shop with the ported out Google voice number?

You got a clueless rep because unlock has been 60 days for almost 3 years, it's on the website.

I just selected new number during activation, just like you did. I did this within an hour of the phone shipping, though, so that might be why it worked? It hasn't even arrived yet (or even been tracked and handed over to UPS yet).

I have just ordered another one for $30. I have tried earlier today but it was showing full price after added to the cart. I emptied my cart, and tried it again and was told my ID verification just expired(which is good) so they asked me to verify again and bingo it worked perfectly. Thank you guys for sharing your knowledge and expertise 😃

Looks like ID verification did the trick. I will wait some days until ID verification expire to reorder.

I activated the sim in new phone, confirm to text 611611 with UNLOCK, system replied with unlocking date, it is about 60 days. Then I switch the sim card to my current phone, after several days, I switch back to the new phone, although I can still use the new phone service, but this time when I text again to 611611 ,syetem said it is with my own device, will it affect my unlocking process? Or it does not matter?

Shipping it to NY, total was 87.19 after taxes, add 3 dollars for google voice port, should be a total of 90.19$. 60 day free unlock with only 1 month of service paid for sounds too good to be true so I'll see for myself. Has anyone gotten one of these total wireless phones unlocked?

Lots of us have been doing it, unlock policy is available to read online. As long as you follow requirements there's no problem.

I hope it gets shipped, mine canceled the order submitted after reverification, for some reason it says "Your order has been rejected because you are attempting to purchase more than two (2) items" and this was the second item, not 3rd..
