Yes Google voice worked for verification without unlocking it once get device pay $3 to unlock GV for porting or try activate with new number YMMV or port different number on activate page.

These Automatically unlock with only 1 month service after Activation on 60th day can confirmed unlock date by texting UNLOCK to 611611

I ordered the first phone in august and just had it unlocked yesterday after a few calls because of the sim getting deactivated and phone not getting auto unlocked after the 61'st day mark . Gave me a run around to reach manufacturer (motorola for moto razor phone ) . Did get another one later this month moto edge and the line is active and working . Now it did let me pass ID verification for third one with reduced monthly plan but the price changes to full price for phone in cart . So although I only have one line for the active Motorola with them unable to get a new order in . So if the limit enforced for only two discounted phones per account and lifetime .

I bought edge, and referred by someone. I got 7000 points(pending for 1 month),

If I do not top up my account for the 2nd month, can I redeem the 7000 points after

Can't figure out how to get the discount, when I'm logged in there is no option to get a phone for free

so now I got it activated a couple weeks ago, how do I avoid paying the 2nd month and how does it get unlocked on the 60th days?

You answered your own question 😆 after waiting two weeks go and add the phone to your cart. If it asks you to verify again then you are good to go.

be sure to make sure you have autopay turned off. My friend accidentally had it turned on
and got charged.

No, you do not have to port a number. Once they mark your phone shipped, there have several hour window for you to activate the phone with a new phone number, after that, you have to port in to activate it.

I really messed up order my second phone. I waited 2 weeks and got the ID verification again. I got to the final step to order but I changed my mind on a different phone. I hit remove the phone so I can add a different phone. Now I am getting " ID verification in progress" all the time and the price of the phone is not discounted. I restart the order many times but it still shows "ID verification in progress". I tried to order from a different PC but still the same "verification in progress"

Lesson learned is when you finished ID verification, don't remove the phone from your cart.

Rewards needs a line. Instead of terminating service, try pausing it (max 90 days) and check if it works. Also, rewards become available on the 30th day. So you can possibly redeem on the day of renewal.

I see Amazon GCs available 600 for $5, $1100 for $10, etc. Same for Walmart and a few others.
