That's what I did. When phone arrived, paid $7 on numberbarn, it immediately gave me the port info and was completed the next day with Total.
Did you have any issues with the number you bought. Did you do anything different.

NumberBarn told me this, Make sure Verizon knows this is a wireline port so they can choose port settings appropriately
All numbers purchased from NumberBarn are classified as wireline or landline as opposed to wireless.

So what is the actual total cost of this, is there an extra $30 tax or fee?
Why some people said it cost $130? Is it $95 or $130 total?

There are mutiple edge 2024 deals ongoing:

Straight talk: No port in, around $130 ( with 3 months service), unlocked after 60 days
This (Total): Port in and ID verification, around $65 (with 1 month service) + tax + fee (total around $85 for CA), unlocked after 60 days.
Metro: No port in, exactly $75 (with one month service), unlocked after 365 days

Just like I told you in the iPhone thread this is from the beginning of this thread:

"To transfer your phone number, service must be currently active with a provider outside the Tracfone family of brands. Taxes and fees may apply."

I used a family member's phone for the text verification, then ported with NB when the phone arrived. Otherwise, you'll have to pay for texting from NB first, then you can get the verification text, so might cost you a little more.
This is the way.

how do you cancel the deal after a month? Just not pay? Isn't there a 12 month contract?

I'm still unable to order. Error message:

"Alert We are sorry. Your payment was declined. Please use another payment method or contact the card issuer."

I've tried different cards, debit/credit and Paypal, also tried logging in from a different IP and device, but no dice. Is there anything else I can try?

You need to read up on what you're buying beforehand, TW doesn't have a contract.

Maybe an issue with your address. If you have ordered many phones recently or if you live in a multi apartment building maybe it's blocked.

Have any folks who've unlocked their Edge been able to try using it on the AT&T network (or AT&T MVNO)? Or might have heard of it being capable of it?

I understand the Edge model number is XT2405V and it isn't on the AT&T whitelist, while the XT2405-1 (Metro/T-mobile version) is, so have been trying to Google around, but nothing definitive...

One Reddit poster mentioned it may be a hardware/firmware limitation that restricts the model to Verizon -- https://old.reddit.com/r/USMobile...ed_modern/

While another poster mentioned the Straight Talk Moto G Power 5G has no issues on T-mobile, so I wonder if that opens the door to AT&T compatibility -- https://old.reddit.com/r/NoContra...edge_deal/

Thanks!

Any thoughts on this?
I had the same issue few minutes back when I tried ordering after ID verification. I had used Privacy card. But when I changed it to Capital One virtual card, the order went through successfully.

Pro tip, when it's time to punch your "service address " zip code, ...just put a zip code with low wireless services taxes and fees Portland oregon for example
Is this option for the zip code done when you are ordering the phone or do you do that once you have received the phone and are activating it?

This phone is sold for over $349 elsewhere. Yes I know it's locked for two months but you're also getting one month unlimited plan included in that price.
