Really my ultimate point is that for those of us that are reasonably technically savvy, we will be able to override or otherwise address the issue in some way. but think about all the other people that all they know is their mobile phone that will be plagued by the ads.

Luckily I am still on a older gen LG Oled that does not show ads.
Also, does anyone have any feedback on the LG Premium Care warranty from Asurion and what exactly it covers? Their site talked about 3d glasses and 3d TVs so it feels pretty outdated. I'm particularly concerned with what they consider normal wear and tear (if they put an hour limit on it) and if they cover burn-in. Especially if I'd have to ship the panel back to LG rather than take it to a local store and exchange it.
