I have this set and the handles are annoyingly large - It can make storing these in the fridge difficult. These would be great if they didn't have the handles, but I rarely use them as a result.

I have this set and the handles are annoyingly large - It can make storing these in the fridge difficult. These would be great if they didn't have the handles, but I rarely use them as a result.

I prefer the larger Pyrex baking dish...Pyrex 4.8 quart baking is the only one I use to bake whole chicken...If you use a roasting pan that is dark on the outside, throw it away...I bet you are burning your food all of the time...and Pyrex large baking pan is clear and is gentle on the chicken...it is only $20...I usually have three large Pyrex baking pans on hand cause they are cheap...after I roast a chicken, I put that pan in the refrigerator...because the pan is deep alway for my cooking needs...

At corelle you can get them cheaper most of the time then msrp elsewhere. Last prime day corelle did 40% off the whole week prior. On Prime Day, they bumped it to 50% and would not do price adjustments. If you want these, and any other glass storage, just go to corelle when prime day is actually going on and I'm sure they will have some flash sale bringing this down to less than other retailers. The rub is free shipping is $100, but I just made sure I bought gifts for the holidays. Good time to completely rid yourself of plastic containers too.

That middle-size one is 6-cup, not 2qt, and doesn't have handles. Different bundles.

PYREX isn't Pyrex and it isn't pyrex. Know what you are buying.

Corning sold/leased out their name, and others are legal knockoffs.

So....some are Borosilicate glass and some are soda-lime glass, with the latter being the ones you hear the horror stories of blowing up in the oven and things breaking.

Large handles are an advantage in my view, both for carrying and for keeping your fingers away from the body of the dish where you could burn your fingers.
