Decent deal if you can't take advantage of discounted tickets on Tuesdays ($7 base for my market) or vouchers from wholesalers. Note that you will have to pay a surchage for 3D/IMAX/Dolby.

Giftory bundles with popcorn/drinks are far superior because it's difficult to get discounts on food.

Sorry, but that's not correct. The Stubs membership (or A-List) only provides free upgrades in sizes (e.g. large drink for the cost of a medium drink). It ends up being a $.50 to $1 discount at most. There are combo packs (small drink & popcorn) you can buy for $5 but some AMCs restrict those to Tuesdays only. Tickets get a significant discount every Tuesday ($7 in my market) and I buy tickets for anyone else going at that same price. This is a decent deal for going on any other day (since Tuesday is the only discount day) and if you don't have access to a wholesale club for discounted tickets.

Hope this clears things up.

AMC18 code is cheaper when just buying the tickets
NEXT25 code is cheaper when buying tickets + popcorn + drink

Worked for me in NYC. I think when you select the participants location at redemption, it determines whether you get black or yellow tickets. Would've been $48 retail at the location I went. Get your seats in person to avoid online fees.
