Reviews on Walmart look decent, but many complaints about missing parts and no customer support. I'd say it seems pretty suspect and would pass - reviews are probably mostly fraudulent.

The manufacturer's half assed website describes this as a smart wearable product, rather than as a home gym, even though it has pictures of a home gym. Same text on basically the other product pages, too, and it seems to have been put online only a few months ago.

See for yourself: https://fitvidshomegym.com/fitvids-lx750/

That website also says they're in Delaware and describes the company as having been started in 2020 by "John Smith," but there is no registered company in Delaware by that name, and the trademark owner is a Chinese company: https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumbe...atusSearch

I bought it from last deal so let me help you guys.
The price is great for this set however, support is non-existent. It is what happen to me because the bracket that hold the pulley broke when I first tried it. There is no where you can contact to ask for replacement. This is how I fix it. My first advice is do not over tighten, the welding is not good, all the bracket that hold the pulley should only be hand tighted, not too much. Second, there are 2 important float bracket that is critical to this set. This is the part that broke for me, it just snap in half. Here is a replacement I bought that is much better: https://slickdeals.net/click?sdfib=1&lno=1&trd=https+www+amazon+com+dp+B0D2BCT+&pv=&au=&u3=MpkJcy-uiOVS3AcTvScqmi4lCusyQ7ewfcznUfP0ovka8L9ztfxIW-dvartY0-XtYAHlzatLweAt7SFUdaiVd0omWqPw52ZkotO8tG7u8FUl3Fh3jW-KLKX3rEQLSS2xxq_1&peid=ac64e128-85d2-4141-ac3a-f43ff55a4f66

Again, do not over tight, and hope that you did not get any defective bracket.

The fact that Walmart agrees to sell this even when the product web page describes something entirely different says a lot about how nonexistent Walmart's vetting process is.

Good work tracking down the details.

it's sold and shipped by walmert, if your missing parts order a 2nd one take out the missing parts and return one! Why rely on some non existant customer service to fix what you can fix! I mean if it is missing parts it certainly qualifys for a return!

Purchased this during the last fp deal. I was 3 hours into the assembly only to realize it had two missing parts. Contacted Walmart and the only option they offer is to return for a refund. YMMV but if you end up with missing parts you can only return so make sure to checkout all the parts before starting to assemble.

I have the next level up 800 I think. For the price it really isn't bad. I just wish it came with more weight. Not a bad unit. I've had it for a year now and no craftsmanship issues.

This looks very similar to a Weider home gym I bought probably 13 or 14 years ago.
It was terrible.

With these types of home gyms you don't get a straight one-to-one correspondence with the weights. Like you can't chest press exactly 100lbs and then go up a weight plate and you're at 110 like at a normal gym. It's more like you chest press 68.7lbs then go up a plate and you're at 91.2 or something. I always had to make large jumps so often you are stuck using too small of a weight because the jump to the next highest is too far, even though you are getting stronger. This also REALLY affects the different exercises quite drastically due to all of the pulleys. So just having 1 plate while doing chest press might only be 12lbs, if you swap over to something like leg extensions it would equate to 38lbs of resistance. Depending on how strong you are, you might end up finding that some exercises are impossible for you due to how strong the resistance is or you will often find that you can't ever move up.

I got a really good price on my gym at the time but I almost never used it due to the negatives above. It was one of my largest regretful purchases. Also a complete pain to get it out of my house when I sold it and hard to find a buyer in the first place.
I had a weider before an the welds broke while using it. Lucky it kinda melted an slowly fell apart or probably would've have some serious injuries. The reason I use a gym is most of these things have weight limits. An there is still gonna be missing moves. I'm just starting to do leg laterals above the knee cause it's too much on the knee to drag the leg to the side like that. And since this only goes low you will not be able to do that or do lateral leg pull in. An you probably won't be doing ab work on this well either.

Definitely not enough weight to do shoulder shrugs. Or squats. But after welds break on you an you get to live thru it; you kinda don't wanna try again. I still found after spending 1000+ on weights an equipment I needed a gym eventually cause I was too strong for it. It worked for a couple dedicated years.

If someone wants a home solution one of those 2 cable tower machines looks excellent ; but for some reason cost a lot. (an *id* love to have 2 but that's a very me specific training)

Also keep in mind that a lot of people can't or don't follow instructions, I bought a simple total gym type sliding bench. It looked simple enough and when I assembled it like I thought it should be assembled I was missing several nuts and bolts. I took a look at the assembly video and the way it was supposed to be assembled it had all the parts. The reviews on that gym had about 50% saying they were missing parts Smilie

How much clearance do you need to use it? It says 78 in tall but does it need more clearance to operate?

Wishful thinking lol. You will receive 5-7 pretty heavy boxes. Took me two days to assemble. Work days so around 6hrs total.

They sell a 5 lb weight stack which helps transition between weights so it's not as large of a jump. Looks like it's out of stock but I paid $30 for it last year - https://www.walmart.com/ip/1768008689
