If you drop prime, the Amazon cash back drops to 3% instantly. If you join prime again, it goes back to 5%. The rest of the benefits stay the same. I pause my account often, and it drops, but if I decide to make a larger purchase or there's a special prime offer, I unpause the account.
Yes, Chase requires the applicant not having more than 4 cards within 2 years.
That's strange my mother has a 625 credit score, retired, and only makes 25k a yr and she was approved for a $500 credit limit.
