Yes you have to be a prime member. Other way of doing it is to create your own account and add youself into prime member's household. This way you will have your own separate account even if you move outside primary member's physical address and still have prime membership. That's how I have my account setup with my cousin. We split the membership.

Does anyone know what constitutes a "new customer"? I have a card now, I'm assuming that if I cancel that card today and get this offer tomorrow it wouldn't count so if anyone knows this info or can point me to a good resource I'd appreciate it

My partner has Prime and we are in each others amazon household but I only see the regular Amazon Visa with a $60 gift card. Is it because we have to share payment methods?

Tried this during the last Black Friday. They sent me a letter that my account was compromised. When I called they said they approved the card… so they approved the card a day after the promotion had ended. So I ended up getting 60 usd amazon gift card instead of the 200 usd
