Thanks OP! I just added a google voice number to my google account and ported that in. Takes no time at all. You'll need to go to GV settings and pay $3.00 to unlock the number. You'll also need to enable the "Call to Listen" setting under Voicemail which will let you set a PIN which Metro will ask for. You'll also need the google account number which is just the phone number.

Nobody here is interested in the $75/mo service. We bought to get an iPhone 13 for $175 plus tax or less for trade-in purposes.

You're missing that if you either use the one month and let it sit in a drawer for 11 months you'll have an unlocked iPhone 13. And the other case you're missing is apple trade in value (locked or unlocked same trade in value)

But the phone, activate it, keep it in drawer for next 365 days, charge and turn on by 366th day and use any physical/esim

I just use MKSD Ultra 5.6 or RSIM 19 (found on eBay) to make it work on any SIM card besides Verizon or Verizon MVNO network like Tracfone, Visible.
