Thanks OP! I just added a google voice number to my google account and ported that in. Takes no time at all. You'll need to go to GV settings and pay $3.00 to unlock the number. You'll also need to enable the "Call to Listen" setting under Voicemail which will let you set a PIN which Metro will ask for. You'll also need the google account number which is just the phone number.

Been 3 days since activating a port in number from Google voice, incoming calls still don't work. Outgoing is fine. How is everyone else's port in times?

Best to call Metro's porting department. You could be waiting for weeks before it completes if you don't. See last few pages in this thread.

Based on years of experience with Metro it should. They unlocked when it was 90 days to unlock, when it was 180 days to unlock and now they will at 12 months.

I got a Metro Moto Edge 2024 in August for $35 also. Its call volume was too low for my taste, so I sold it. Got a Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 for $35 which I like much better.

It's prepaid. Nothing to cancel unless you set up Autopay. If you don't pay for month 2 you lose service.
