Thanks OP! I just added a google voice number to my google account and ported that in. Takes no time at all. You'll need to go to GV settings and pay $3.00 to unlock the number. You'll also need to enable the "Call to Listen" setting under Voicemail which will let you set a PIN which Metro will ask for. You'll also need the google account number which is just the phone number.

So the 12 and the 13 are back in stock online... I have a second GV number, unlocked the number (paid $3), I have a PIN set up...and I try to add it to the cart, but it's charging me Metro's full price on each respective phone. What is the problem?

EDIT: I see others have answered, GV may not work anymore.

Metro porting/ordering process sucks. I'm porting from Tracfone, I know for sure my info is correct, and it popped up an error, asking to correct my info, re-entered info, still error, hit back, enter info again, enter payment info again, and it lets me order without the wait for porting screen. If you get error message, just hit back and try to go to the next step again, it's worked for be twice now porting out of Tracfone.

I was able to add a line (iPhone 13) to my existing account using Visible phone number. Remember to use referral code to make it $5 for 1st month. Thanks for the tip guys 🫰

I tried all that but it locked my number. now have to wait few hrs to unlock.

Did you have the correct info from TF to port out? phone number, account number, port PIN (text NTP to 611611 to get the port PIN), zipcode.

I got an error message as well. I had paused while trying to find my Visible account number during check out. So I cleared my history, restarted my computer, and started the process all over again, this time without pausing part of the way through, and it worked. YMMV (of course), but it may be worth a try. If I was on Windows I'd also clear the temporary internet files.

I got to work with the visible $5 esim trick. Repped. I was surprised the referral codes I found online weren't single use at all, but case sensitive.

A year is a long time to wait, though.

Bought 2 phones over a month ago, but never used the phones after activating them. When I check the account, they say suspended, and won't let me add another line. Do you guys just create new account with the same mailing address?
