Ouch. Sorry to hear that. I just ported out from AT&T prepaid to US mobile.
In this weird way I'm glad US mobile actually gave you some difficulty porting out. Porting out phone numbers to steal your identity is on the rise. AT&T's security is appalling and they gladly ported out my number without even checking. No wonder millions of people had their social security numbers stolen through them.

It's funny truth, because every year Best Buy offers inflated iPhone trade-in values for either new Pixel pre-order or first few weeks after Pixel is released.
As the years go by the best value model for trade-in changes, such as this year for the Pixel 9 pre-order? The iPhone 12 was best value for trade-in, if you traded it in the Pixel 9 was free. If you picked Pro model, I think it was like $150 extra but BB gave away $100 giftcard as well. So you could get Pro model for essentially iPhone 12 + $50.
You can usually find iPhones that offer the best trade-in/cost efficiency for under $250, so every year new Pixel is $250 (if you do the trade with BB).
So next year iPhone 13 will probably be best trade-in value thus next year's Pixel 10 would be free when he trades this in.
