Thanks OP! I just added a google voice number to my google account and ported that in. Takes no time at all. You'll need to go to GV settings and pay $3.00 to unlock the number. You'll also need to enable the "Call to Listen" setting under Voicemail which will let you set a PIN which Metro will ask for. You'll also need the google account number which is just the phone number.

I just use MKSD Ultra 5.6 or RSIM 19 (found on eBay) to make it work on any SIM card besides Verizon or Verizon MVNO network like Tracfone, Visible.
did you use PSIM or ESIM?

Thanks, I was able to order a new number through the chat bot.

One question, what should I enter in account number and password during checkout? Are they asking for the account and password from Visible?

Where do I enter the port out pin?
They are asking for the account number and transfer (port-out) PIN for your Visible account (not your Visible account password)

Anyone know what the error from visible "something went wrong, please try again later" when signing up for an esim means?

I went to the store and I was charged $235. Can anybody tell me what they paid for with taxes (taxes YMMV for states I guess) .

Also can anybody confirm, if their phone was in mint condition. I mean plastoic wrapped and you had to remove the plastic cover from the outer ipHone box or there was no plastic sealed and wrapped.

Thestore guy went inside his store warehouse and brought out an iPhone 13. The box was open. Not in a plastic wrap. It just had a sticker at the back like a tape, that I peeled off.

any feedback would be appreciated.
They got rid of the plastic wrap starting from iPhone 13. There is now just a perforated sticker at the top and bottom that you peel off.

This happened to me once when I had a bad network connection. Did you try again?

I had similar issue and changed the number using chat bot in visible.. try that one.. only takes 2 mins to get a new number assigned
I requested the new number last night and still have not received it. It's so frustrating dealing with Visible, I'm about to give up!

I am all set with a number ready to be ported. Now should o go for phone 13 at $100 or iPhone 12 at $0. I don't have a need for any of them, but it is hard to pass a deal. Suggestion fellows slickdealer?

P.S. I needed 1 which I got iPhone13 for $175. The question is for the add on line for $35 fee.

The referral code link I was using was expired I think. I just started fresh without the referral code link and it worked.

Hard to say. I got 3 12s in the March deal. 2 13s now. One of the 12 became a free Pixel 9 plus $100 gift card from Best Buy and a second replaced my son's iPhone with a cracked screen. I plan to use the 13s for me and my wife's daily drivers in 18 months.

I think that depends on when you would like to use them, and where you like to trade in. If you want to trade in now for a carrier deal then the 12 seems to be great and likely for the next 3 months or so until Jan, but who knows. If you plan to keep it for trading it in for an iPhone 17 then the iPhone 13 will be the safer bet, and I would argue that a safe trade-in in perfect condition for $135 plus tax is still a great deal in September '25.

I will try to get an iPhone 13 for a trade in next Fall. I also would not mind to keep one "backup/transition phone" around and the iPhone 13 with 128 GB and a physical sim slot fits perfect to keep around for in between phone times. Thus, I contemplate getting one for the drawer. Too bad it's not 6-months any longer to unlock. The 12 with only 64GB was a pain to use after I sold the 14 and was waiting for the 16 to arrive. And I do like to have one phone in the house that can actually take a physical SIM slot, and the 13 is the last one in the US. It's fair to assume that the 12 will not get the highest trade in values next year maybe after Mother's Day or latest for new iPhone 17 launch. Thus, trade them in sometime within the next 6/7 months I guess.

And for Samsung, if you are with T-Mobile, then an S9 or S10 will likely be good enough even for a new S25 in January. And trading in on Samsung itself you never know what stunt they pull. I will contemplate that when I see actual trade-in values posted in Jan.

Are you using RSIM or MKSD? do you need to re-enter the code every time you reboot the phone? TY

Well, I stocked up iPhone 13 from Xfinity for the same price like a month back. They will unlock in 2 years, perfect time when our batteries for current phones would have detoriated too much, then I can switch to these. Now the additional iPhone 13 I have will allow one of us to switch after 1 year and the 12 I score at 125 will allow the other to switch sooner. I don't think I am looking to trade in as much. I traded my 12 for new pixel 9, it's still sitting in the drawer collecting dust and folks low balling on market place. Chances are that 13 might go for $50, but then the $40 difference (75-35) makes it a no brainer if I have to wait. So maybe just go with 13 for $135 and call it a day.. either ways, I am bad at reselling, which adds an added burden of collecting too many devices for recycling.

Phew, still the thought of deciding before the time run outs is driving me crazy. Lol

Can y'all stop buying 13s just to trade in and not use? I actually need a 13 to USE and y'all driving the prices up everywhere. Thanks in advance! Smilie
I'm confused at how you think these locked phones are driving up prices?
