i didnt have a phone for esim, so ordered the sim from visible, 7 days later, port didnt go through on website, but piece of cake over the phone, the number worked first time, no needing to change it for visible.

tried several times over a week but can't port FreeUP number, which is ATT.

your number cannot be transferred at this time. you must cancel your transfer to continue.

I agree, it can be a hassle. Getting a free phone, even as a great deal, can be a hassle if you don't want to use it and their value deteriorates faster than gravity. I am done with that stuff after my last trade-in in a few weeks. But I will keep one 13 for future use/trade-in.

For those who bought this phone, can anybody kindly send a screenshot of what they paid up at the time of checkout (including activation + fee). I needto file a chargeback against the store for charging me $240 for the same.

$100 (discounted price) + $75 (phone service) + sales tax on $630 is just under $240. Include an activation fee (which the stores charge) and you're right around $240, give or take depending on your local sales tax rate.

If you managed to get a store to sell you JUST the phone and plan with no additional charges beyond the activation fee and the (legally required) sales tax, you should consider yourself lucky. You shopped at one of the only honest Metro stores.

Most of the stores will only sell the iPhone in a bundle, forcing you to buy an overpriced case and screen protector and many of them will opt you in to insurance (an additional $10 monthly charge, can be removed by phone support) even if you say no.

But at the price point you're claiming, it doesn't sound like that happened.

What does your receipt say?

Has anyone recently posted GV number? I entered my GB number then it says this qualifies, but on next page it doesn't apply discount and shows price of $479 or something like that!

Any idea if GV is eligible transfer for Metro? If not, then what are other easy transfer options?

They fixed the glitch, GV no longer works for porting in.
