Thanks OP! I just added a google voice number to my google account and ported that in. Takes no time at all. You'll need to go to GV settings and pay $3.00 to unlock the number. You'll also need to enable the "Call to Listen" setting under Voicemail which will let you set a PIN which Metro will ask for. You'll also need the google account number which is just the phone number.

Typically, one can get TWO discounted devices per ACCOUNT. Member aabbccbbaa could only got one phone in one of his accounts, but he had ordered under his name to that address before, so Metro could've counted the previous device toward his total. You can open another account under someone else's name, email, card to the same address, but Metro also has an (unknown) limit per street address. So, keep ordering as many as you want until they start blocking your orders.

Tried purchasing with my GoogleVoice number, but when I added the phone to cart, the price is: $479.99 + $75.00. When I put in my US Mobile phone number (Verizon network), it shows $99.00 + $75.00. Are Google Voice numbers no longer eligible? I don't really want to port my primary number.
If GoogleVoice no longer works, what's the cheapest alternative? Thanks.

Metro no longer accepts GV for port-in. People have been getting a new service/phone number from Visible, using a referral code to bring the cost down to $5.
