Also, what would I have to pay out of pocket monthly and for how long to keep the phone? I essentially just wanna get the phone and Use it for the least amount of time possible and then use it as my main phone (which has a regular T-Mobile plan, not metro). In this case, would it matter that the phone has to wait 365 days to unlock or would it not matter because metro and standard T-Mobile are the same carrier?
You don't have to pay anything after the 1st month (Autopay is turned off by default). If you don't pay for the 2nd month, the line will be suspended on Day 31 and the account closed on Day 61. Some Metro phone works with a T-mo SIM even when still locked to Metro, most DON'T. You'll need some datapoints from people who had bought this Metro iPhone 13.
Personal preference. Get a 12 for $75 and a second for $35 64gb. Or spend $99+75 for 128gb.
