TracFone, and it's subsidiaries, e.g. ST, works differently than other carriers. Once the port-out information entered and reserved by the port-in carrier, Metro in this case, TracFone will immediately deactivate the line, marking it inactive in the account. You can still call and use data for that line, but you can no longer port to another carrier even if the first carrier port didn't go through or got cancelled. In other words, you have one chance to port to Metro from TracFone. The error you got for the first try is intentional on TracFone part even if you entered everything correctly. The error is to give the owner of the line, you in this case, time to notice that a port of the line is being conducted. If you see the courtesy text on your ST line, that means everything was entered correctly at Metro. To fix that error at Metro, you need to enter everything again, port-out info and credit card info. There will be a second error after everything is entered. This error is a Metro bug. To get past it, don't click on Fix the error info again, but click on the red x at the top right to close the error message. Then Metro will proceed with the porting. You did everything correctly, but failed to get past Metro bug and that's why your ST line is lost in porting universe.
Thanks for the information. Same trouble made by Tracfone. Actually, it's not the first time my account was screw by Tracfone. I took the tracfone SIM card off from my phone for 1 month. Then my service was terminated when I insert it. I need to paid for a new SIM card to reactive and found all my previous roll up data was reset to zero.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the promo price when porting a Google voice number? I get $479.99 instead of $99. Tried my regular cellphone number and I get the promotional price.

Has to be a VZ or ATT number -- can't be TMo or VoIP (GV/NB) if you want phone discount

does anyone know what the reason could possibly be that there is no option to add another line in my account? I only have one phone line and one tablet line.

Can't have any pending ports or pending/unactivated orders -- activate that tablet line from the online order status page after it ships

I am using MKSD 5.6 on T-Mobile with iOS 18.1 just fine. Initially, the phone came with iOS 17 (probably 17.6; I don't remember exactly).
You purchased it through *bay ? Can you suggest the seller name?

You want MKSD v5.7 for best compatibility wit iOS 18. Members have reported these phones work with T-Mobile while still locked to MetrobyT-mobile so could be that the v5.6 didn't actually do anything.

I know it's a long shot but does that also unlock the E-sim?
