If you don't have a PS5 yet and don't care about the PS5 PRO hold your horses! Sony and other retailers usually bundle the PS5 console along with a free game included for the same price $449 during BF Holiday.

349 or less. That is with a game. I am not paying the same price after 4 years, not a huge new game library, and Walmarts piled high with inventory.

Four years in and we are still only getting remastered games. PSN Plus is now $79.99 a year, Sony also increased the prices of their controllers from $74.99 to $79.99. The worse generation of gaming ever.

The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X were definitely worth it. The 4K output along with better performance and load times with a lot of games was a worthwhile upgrade from the base versions. You could argue this generation's refreshes aren't as great - especially the Xbox because that is just an increase in console memory.

Source? The manufacturing cost of electronics always go down over time. Sony is still charging so much after these only because there is no meaningful competition. If Xbox series X is selling as well as PS5, we'd be seeing sales every other week.

Switch has been out for 7 and a half years and no price cut lol. Sadly I think the companies have caught on to the fact that people will buy the consoles regardless. Frown

Yeah, if PS5 Pro had been $599 and included the disc drive, I think it would sell quite well.
