can i use the card right away when approved or do I have to wait until I get the physical card?
You can use it immediately on approval through your phone with Apple Wallet/etc for NFC scanned purchases but you have no full card number, expiration or CVV.

I just signed up and had to call them to expedite shipping the card to me. Normally 5-7 days but they can expedite it to you in 1-2 days.

Got a branch on the phone and he was able to find an internal memo stating customers get the $300 travel credit as well as the branch offer of 70k points. I popped in to do the app and he was able to show me the screen with the info

That's wrong. You have to book the travel through the chase portal for this promotion. The article you linked was for the saphire reserve which comes with an annual $300 credit. This $300 credit on the preferred is a one time extra.

I am having issues confirming getting both the in brach offer + the $300 travel credit offer that is listed online.

I read in another thread that people were able to get both offers (70K for signing up in the branch + 300 travel credit). I read that someone said Chase sent out a memo to the branches specifically talking about combining these offers, so I did go in and sign up at the branch.

However, now that I got the card, I am trying to get Chase to confirm that I will get the travel credit and they are "not seeing" the travel credit offer on my account. I've sent multiple secure messages and just get a basic rep that says they don't see the combined offer. I just called and the rep on the phone basically said the same thing but they did say they would escalate this to their marketing dept to see if they can confirm that I will get both offers.

Pretty annoying as it seems like you need to get in contact with the correct person who is up to speed on this specific offer.

We'll see what happens. If they can't give both offers, I may cancel/retroactivate this credit card and re-sign up online since that has the better offer. (the phone rep indicated this could be a possibility).

yeah when I went to the branch, the banker actually showed me the posting on their email/notifications about the deal that was placed (it was like 11/2/24 dated). I wanted to take a photo to be sure but I didnt want to make the banker feel uncomfortable though... Seeing this I might go back to him later today and just make sure ! And hopefully I can save a copy?
