Modern Samsung Metro locked devices CAN use T-Mobile SIM cards without unlocking.

Most Metro locked devices can NOT use T-Mobile SIM cards without unlocking.

Note, if you never activate the device on Metro it may not automatically unlock in a year.

This is because they don't support the discount for the service you tried using for porting. If you port a google voice number, it will show the discount properly.

275 for a phone with a chipset that is only 10% slower than an SD 8 Gen 3 is a very very good deal, and definitely a slick deal if you can use it on TMO mvnos without unlocking.

s24 fe is miles better 23fe is a heater and basically e-waste.

This can probably last 4-5 years with much better, cooler internals..

Came out to $288.24 with tax. Ported over GV# over the phone with little to no hassle because the website kept giving me issues. Planning on switching over to the $25 metro unlimited plan if possible. To me it seems like a great deal for a top MID tier phone. Not sure why everyone more for less without some drawbacks.

I'm very happy with my S23fe - doesn't get hot-but I agree that the s24fe is a better phone.
