I ended up getting the Moto Edge 2024 from Metro. I just got it and it works perfectly with my T-Mobile SIM.

Thank you to everyone that reported that Samsung and Motorola phones do work on T-Mobile.

Recently, the FE phones have had pretty terrible trade values. So probably not worth it.

They're usually only interested in stealing "flagship" customers, so offer better values on flagship phones.

It should work with Tmobile. As far as I know, Metro Samsung phone only works with Tmobile, not with Tmob mvnos like mint and boost

That's my guess as well. every IMEI check tool I use says it's locked to T-Mobile, not Metro.

Compared to my S24 Ultra (Snapdragon) on Mint, signal strength is about the same, but download speeds are about half of the S24 FE on Metro. Not sure if that's due to the modem or just due to prioritizing Metro vs Mint.

Sorry to hear that. Well, T Mobile Connect is still an option. It's technically a QCI 6 T Mobile service that is indistinguishable from post-paid from my research.

Also the specs on this phone are insane. In 1 year it will still be worth the purchase price.

Does anyone have experience with metrobytmobile unlocking w/o opening the box? I know it will take an year and they automatically activate after 3 weeks from the purchase date but is it possible to unlock?
