Received my S24 FE and popped in my T-Mobile sim first thing before powering it on. I did not activate the phone and did not activate esim. I turned the FE on and experienced issues with the phone locking and available only for Emerging Calling. When I turned Wi-Fi calling off, the phone now seems to operate fine on my T-Mobile sim. I'll provide a 24 hr update, but it seems this phone works on T-Mobile; however, not Wi-Fi call capable - does anyone know any way around this? Many thanks!

Does anyone know how one could get Wi-Fi calling enabled? Physical T-Mobile sim on the Metro locked S24 FE - everything works fine except WiFi Calling.

I can't get it to work outside of emergency calling at all (phone arrived today). It boots as a T-mobile phone and recognizes the sim, but says not registered on network, and disabling wifi calling doesn't work either. Tried resetting the phone completely and that did nothing. Also tried turning off 2g, 5g, etc which gets it to show a signal, but it never connects to data. I never activated metro and booted first time with a tmobile postpaid sim. Not sure what to do at this point.

Hmm - I'm not sure on this. The only element that disrupted me was the Wi-Fi calling. When I turn it on, the phone locks and disconnects from the T-Mobile network and remains in "Searching" status. When off, the phone runs perfectly fine and recognizes my T-Mobile network. I get 5GUC in my area.

I have the same issue. No matter what I tried couldn't get it to work. Going to just return them. Has been a hassle to get it to work for my parents. Even tried new sims to see if that helps but nothing.

They will not refund the $75 paid for a month of service will they? I haven't activated it yet, but if the $75 is a sunk cost, I'm going to at least try an unlock service first before returning it. This was also for my parents, but thankfully only needed one. https://www.unlockbase.com/blog/u...y-tmobile/ this place charges $49.99 for metro unlock...if it works, but the reviews on trustpilot are good and says they refund the cost if they cannot successfully provide the code.
