Anecdotal but I have had major issues with this when it was on sale a few months ago.

Had to return the first one, it got extremely hot and the fans ran 100% 24/7. Best Buy exchange experience was awful. Now just as of yesterday it won't charge, not sure if the laptop or the charger at this time.

Interesting because I believe Samsung was rated very poorly on reliability years ago when I used to follow such things. Was kinda wondering if that had changed.

I had the same issue, what I found out was it has extremely poor heat dissipation. Whenever I charge mine (even when the lid is closed) I had to leave it on a laptop cooler otherwise it gets too hot and it'd just stop charging.

I have the first gen with the I7 and it gets hot also. The thing is too thin without a good way for the heat to escape. The fans stays on all the time unless you put it on silent mode. Not to mention at this price it should have at least a 2K screen. It's fast though. I only paid $375 but I don't think I would get it again even at that price. The fan noise can be annoying and I do wish the screen was sharper
