"Manufactured from Wood" aka particle board. This is for knick-knacks and will sag if you look at it for too long.

Depends on use case. I've got these all over my house. My garage, my pantry, my kids playroom, my closet.

For heavy items yeah it's useless. But I easily store bulky items of them and have for several years now much cheaper than heavy sorry shelves

nearly identical in all dimensions, far stronger (not pretty for interior spaces), not much more expensive:

Good looking out. I was going to order two of the OP ones, however ones going in the laundry area next to the wash machine and that makes a lot more sense.

yes, I happened to see the wire shelf deal previously, these particle board things are just terrible, the veneer starts to peal, the shelves sag, and they go in the trash sooner rather than later. Wire shelving only rusts...but still lasts a long long time.

TBF all wood shelves will sag given enough time/weight on them, it really isn't just a particle board thing. That said, my biggest concern is more how stable they are, I mean obviously something that thin and tall is going to tip over easy but is there a wobble shake to it just from existing? The wire ones are poles from the ground up and the shelves slip around them locking them all together, this looks like each layer is screwed onto the previous

All wood shelves will sag given enough time/weight... Uhm and all materials on earth will be consumed when the sun swallows the earth, but seriously please don't compare particle board to wood with that statement. Otherwise paper and steel both burn up when exposed to enough heat...

Particle board is nothing to compare to wood.
