It's always wild to me how cheap TVs are now. Back in the day I paid $900 for a 32" HDTV that was like a huge brick and weighed like 80lbs

$379 for a Panasonic 27" CRT (called "big screen" at the time). Biggest tv of any of my college buddies, along with a 5.1 Dolby system and a $200 DVD player. I think I got most of it on eBay.

At the end, the chips within Tvs are mostly from the same manufacturers. People just pay extra for brand value most of the time. My Insigna 4K has been running fine since 2019 without any issues(that i bought during Amazon Prime Day). Best purchase ever !!.

Great price for 75" of power! Quality aside, if the room has the dimensions, leave it on 24/7, don't worry about life span, and enjoy the 75" of POWER!!!

Not only that, but the store was located uphill from your house, and also had to transport it uphill back to your house

From personal experience, Insignia is not a brand I would trust...unreliable tv longevity. Gotta do the homework before committing...high risk purchase in running into issues less than 2 years of ownership

If the store was uphill, wouldn't you have to transport it downhill?

I have no problems with insignia TVs. I should know, I have 3 in my house going more than 2+ years strong! I'll wait for the BF less that $400 price!

That is why the extended warranties at these price points are a no brainer.

I have 5 of the Amazon Best Buy insignia tvs. I bought them all brand new in 2020 when I bought our new house. Other than one of them failing to pair with any remote and some remotes causing other tvs to turn on, they all work as intended and show no sign of dying.

Does anyone know if this TV can do wireless screen mirroring from a laptop? Not Chromecast or air drop but for a Windows laptop. Thanks!

I am in for 1. Yeah the quality sucks but for this price, even if it lasts 2 years I can but 3 of these for the price of a better-quality brand.

It's a joke, because of stereotypes that the generations before us "Had to walk to and from school, barefoot, in the snow, uphill both ways," etc as a way of telling their kids how grateful they should be and how good they have it.

In my case, every word of it was true. 😛

Insignia is very hit or miss. I've had two TVs from them. One died completely only after a year or so. The other is still working fine. Only worth buying if the price is really good. You need to factor usable life into the cost
