I won't buy a TV in 2025 without 120Hz.
And I won't buy a car without anti-grav levitaters . Okay the truth is I'm just broke but...

But dude who won't buy it without 120 hertz, exactly which content are you trying to put on there that benefits? I like watching anime myself, and it's pretty impossible to find anime 60hz.

But coming from an old box when I was young that was in black and white, I don't really need more than 60 HZ myself

When even Nintendo of all companies support 120hz now this TV seems ancient. But yes, if you don't want to play a single game on this TV if you are 100% not a gamer whatsoever or anyone that uses this TV doesn't play a single game that is modern. Then yes it's fine for streaming or using a Blu-ray player or something.

Genuinely curious what console you're using where you consistently take advantage of a 120Hz panel. If you're using a PC then I 100% get it. If you're playing any modern console they're not getting there on any AAA title. I think having VRR is a far more desirable feature than just straight 120Hz. Ultimately I'd like both, but VRR is the real game changer in my opinion and that is for sure not happening on any TV of this size for this price.

I do agree with your sentiment about it being a fine large screen for Blu-ray and streaming.

If looking for 120 on a low end TV for gaming a person is looking in the wrong place. This is cheap arse budget TV (decent pic if light is controlled in the room and viewing angle isn't too much of an issue.) Also, 120 barely matters with many setups and those that have high end would get this thing for watching the morning Today Show.

edit: would vs. woudn't

This is like walking into a Toyota dealership, looking at a Camry and loudly proclaiming "I won't buy a car with less than 400 horsepower". It's not a gaming TV, it's not advertised as a gaming TV, and it's not meant to be used as one. Why are you even looking at this brand to begin with? Why did you click on this?
