I don't remember when I last canceled this card. Tried calling Chase they can't look it up. How likely will I get denied if I had this card before?
You will get denied. I hadn't remembered when I last had the card but they do know. Sent a letter to me that I last got the bonus 3 years ago and am not eligible.
I already have a Sapphire Preferred from last year May. Am i still eligible for this if i downgrade my current card to Freedom Unlimited and reapply.
Chase limits you to getting the offer once every 48 months starting from the date you get the bonus. Depending on when you got the bonus after you got the card you may have to wait 48-51 months from last May before considering downgrade and apply for new Sapphire offers in the future.
Checked with rep over the phone and he said at branch or online the sign up bonus is only 60K ..
I would advise to go bank directly since the staff received a separate email for this offer. They have shown me on screen that says "Exclusive branch Offer Only" - 10000 points

I received a bonus from chase mid last year for opening a checking and savings account. I closed that account earlier this year. Will I still be eligible for this bonus? I've never had a chase credit card before. Thanks

Doesn't matter when you canceled as much (as long as it's been at least a few days/weeks). It's about when you last got the bonus. You can only get it once every 4 years.

Only matters if you've received a bonus for a Sapphire card within the past 48 months.
