Bamboo cutting boards can be had for very cheap but are very rough on knives due to the hardness of bamboo. If you have any nice knives, I would steer you toward a maple, cherry, walnut or even a plastic cutting board to save your knife edge.

Deep Juice Groove sounds like the name for a Barry White tribute band.

100% correct. If you have good knives, saving a few bucks on a cutting board like this will cost you much more than you save.

Never plastic anything in the kitchen, unless you like eating micro plastics. Wood, metal, and stone for food safety.

Listing is 13 days old. This isn't actually a deal. Seller is just trying to rank better so they're dropping price from inflated starting price.

Stone, metal and glass cutting boards wear out knives faster than bamboo.

I have given up on even attempting to worry about microplastics, they are in all of our food, from plants taking them from the soil and water, even organic.

Ok you can give up but maybe others haven't. I will attempt to limit my exposure.

I didn't say it was bamboo, but I just listed what is worse. I use plastic myself. Cheap, easy to clean, and even dishwasher safe
