This tool is extremely finicky but can be improved if you pull out the pick up tube and poking 10-15 small holes into the filter with a small pick. It was impossible to spray anything that isn't the consistency of water even at the slightest. Works ok after modding it but be warned that it has a hard time spraying when pointing angles downward.

You have to keep this level ... that is how it is designed. I use it to spray various chemicals to keep mosquitos and gnats under control. It works great. I have used both nasty chemicals and this natural stuff (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1) with it. The nasty stuff work like someone carpet bombed my years...but cant be good for long term use. the natural stuff works as well...takes a day or so to notice but then it is good for close to a week. Bottom line is that with fluid properly diluted and holding it level...it does work great. one key is to run clean water through it for a few seconds to clean it before storing it after use.

It's labeled for it but definitely don't use on a windy day.. It's a very fine mist I own this one and the one with the blower

What's the difference between the sprayer and the electrostatic mister?

Definitely not bad! Was about to pull the trigger on the mister but read a bit of the reviews on Home Depot and it's prone to leaking and not misting with anything but water in it Frown

Don't do it. You should be spraying close to the ground. This will go all over the place. Just get a regular pump sprayer. I had a Ryobi electric sprayer and it started corroding, but I used it for bleach as well as herbicide insecticide.

I have it

Tried it as a weed killer,
It sucked…too fine a mist

Stick to the regular bottle pump spray that goes for $10

the electrostatic unit has 3 different spray modes, and it appears they are all heavier than the mister.

Mister/fogger that's why people generally use to spray for bugs/mosquitos. Also a good option if you are spraying your plants with organic insect killer like spinosad, which is a bacteria where small dose/contact is enough to infect the bugs, in this case a higher volume stream would be a waste of money compared to the fogger. you can also use things like hot pepper concentrated spray, nicotine/tobacco sun tea (nerve toxin fatal to small bugs).. some sprays work on the principle of making plants less appetizing to pests rather than being a fatal bug toxin

These are garbage products at fire sale prices. The fact they keep having these sales at lower and lower price points should tell you everything you need to know about them.

If you need to know more, be aware that the 'electrostatic' feature is non-functional based on fundamental product design.
