This looks amazing....but you should all be aware the two XT60 solar inputs on this can only handle 60v 25a each. It says 2400w charging but a 300w solar panel voc is usually around 32-38v and 14-15a. You could probably get a 500w panel and be at around 48-55 voc on each input and get 1000w solar input max. You might be able to Jerry rig an mppt in front of the existing mlpt but usually a bad idea. As just battery storage with a generator it could work well but the limited voltage solar input really cripples this product. If you had 500w on each input(1000w total) and crazy sunlight it would take around 7-8 hours to recharge this with solar alone. More realistically you would not have enough power to recharge it in a single day.

Anyone know if the tax credit

There is no limit on how many times you can apply. But you can only file tax once per year.

This might be a dumb question, but can I take advantage of a 30% tax savings if I purchase this as well as the $7,500 credit for electronic vehicle purchase if I did it before the end of this year?

This unit is great but had one major flaw. Can not charge off 120v while providing 240v at the same time.

Inability to charge via AC when outputting 240 was a deal breaker for me.

Unfortunately I purchased before realizing this! I purchased over the Anker Delta Pro 3 because of the larger inverter, but got burned over this... Still looking into solutions to charge through the solar inputs...

I've seen youtube videos of people successfully using a DC Power supply to charge via the solar inputs. I think each solar port supports 1200w which is pretty close to what a normal 120v outlet would get you. This allows for effectively charging with AC while using 240v.

I have seen a lot of talk about it. The one I saw that did it had $500+ in extra equipment which kind of kills it for me.

Agree , definitely adds cost, but Delta pro 3 limitation is you can only use 120v or 240v at one time. Would have to upgrade to Delta Pro Ultra to get both at the same time.

You can't use both the 120V and 240V built-in outlets at the same time, but the L14-30 outlet provides neutral and L1/L2 for easy connection to a split phase generator inlet to power the whole home, both 120V and 240V loads.

You can also use a breakout box to provide 120V and 240V plugs of whatever type you need. One example:
https://www.amazon.com/L14-30P-L1...B07MTMGBPW

I don't know how well the inverter in 240V mode handles load imbalance, same question worth asking for the F3800.

Yes. They are two different tax credits. Just make sure that you paid enough taxes to actually get the full amount back.
