I take some photos just to be sure, then open it up... and sure enough... it's a sheet of f'in metal just sitting in the box with no iPad. Worst part is just how much time i wasted and now sitting on the phone with a target agent.

All iPad models are 60% of their original MSRP prices. Previous lowest price for the cheapest one (iPad pro 11in. 128gb) was $550. This deal is $480.
Not the end of the world, but likely why the 256gb is the better deal overall.

I am an average Joe when it comes to processors; that said, honest to goodness, my m2 Mac Mini shows more rainbow wheels (of waiting) than m1 Mac Mini did, all things equal.
So, I thought, I would pay extra and get m4 for iPad Pro and will get m4 mini when it comes out next week (hopefully there's an EDU deal).
