I take some photos just to be sure, then open it up... and sure enough... it's a sheet of f'in metal just sitting in the box with no iPad. Worst part is just how much time i wasted and now sitting on the phone with a target agent.

I am in the same boat as you, as I have a 12.9" 2tb cellular model which I mainly use for watching hulu and the extra college football game that I want to see at the same time as another one. Also, works great when streaming something in our backyard campsite. I got a great deal on it, so I cannot complain. I'll keep using it as long as I can.
