Wish I would have waited. I bought in on the deal over a month ago with the $199 8ah battery snd the free tool (circular saw). This is an amazing deal if you are waiting for a deal on the saw.

the battery is worth more than $65. the charger is worth $65 by itself. if you go to buy a fast charger BY ITSELF, it retails for $120. you also get a tool bag with the kit, which you don't get if you only buy the saw

Just out of curiosity, why is dewalt blowing out their batteries? I heard something about the EU regulating proprietary batteries, but wasn't sure if that was enough to make dewalt and other companies change in the US. I paid a ton of money for a 5.0ah battery years ago…

Even if it's not the exact same product? Technically I bought an 8ah battery that came with a free tool. This is a different package, technically.
