Mine got chewed up too on the first day. Not completely but wnough to see some pieces were missing and they might get ingested.
I love their fetch balls better

Make sure you don't leave it lying around. Pick up after play session. My boxer found on floor and made quick work of this thing, tearing it to pieces easily.

I have the different experience.
My dog hasn't destroyed the fetch stick, and he has super chompers, yet as far as the balls I took them away from him. He had the balls that were for his weight, yet he could easily swallow one if not supervised.

Agree. My stick has been indestructible, too. Tug of war all the time. Still looks brand new.
