I sell on FBM a fair amount and that ain't no walk in the park usually. Low ballers, flakes, no shows, people not wanting to deal in cash, people wanting to trade not buy, scams, etc. It can be just as much if not more of a time sink. It's always best to have options.

Nope. Too much scammers. Lots of wasted time messaging and no shows. Gamestop trade value might suck but atleast they don't waste your time. I'm not a broke college kid anymore, My TIME is MORE VALUABLE, YMMV, your time may not be as valuable as mine.

Just for kicks Samsung S23 Ultra - Very Good - Swappa/Ebay Price - $650 ish.

Gamestop $240 credit, $180 cash.

Unless you are hard up for games, phone prices suck.

I don't usually buy a ton at GameStop, but with the enticing deal to basically upgrade a 3 year old S with 512GB to a new one with 1TB for $100 or slightly less with various deals attached, it was a no brainer and I'll have a new secondary system with more memory and less worry about filling it up as I already have 2 1TB seagate expansions too. Best Buy wasn't giving squat. They only were giving $100 in trade in value. I usually check other places first.

My GameStop wouldn't give me cash same as credit for my PS5 slim. He said it's excluded from this deal. Such BS. OP update your listing.

In case anyone is wondering, the $30 extra console reward and 30% extra on games and accessories does not apply as cash. Just used them and took it all as trade in credit instead since it was an extra $65 for me. Getting $49 each for colored dualsense controllers with stick drift is wild when I'm sure I'll just be able to buy new ones on Black Friday at the same price.

I got $380 trade in credit. I need a couple new controllers and looking forward to some $70 games coming out next year that I will want to buy day one, so it will come in handy soon.

quick question.. I have a OG nintendo switch which has wifi connection issues.. can I still trade-in that device? will they verify at the game stop and if they do verify what price i'll be getting for a console like this

I agree and this is for 'pro'. I might be interested in trade-in if it had disk enabled. So sell for $275ish and pay around $800 (w/ external disk drive)? trade cost around $520~550 after tax? nuh.... I rather invest in switch 2.

GameStop site and signage says "on ALL trades". Only lists graded collectibles under exclusions. Not doubting your GameStop told you it wasn't included but you are the first to post this since Sunday. Once a deal hits Frontpage it is out of the OP's hands as far as updates and edits to the post.

Around $32 after refurb fee, trading in the dock and joy cons alone will get you more money than a v1 full console trade that gets the refurb fee applied, I just traded in switch console and accessories this week refurb fee is $50 . Joy cons and dock alone are about $54 cash. $55 if you can get them to take the joy con grip too.

FYI ps5 pro orders go live on GameStop website tomorrow at 9AM CST. In store pre-orders are limited to 6 per store, stores will be opening at their normal time. This is the info I got on Reddit GameStop sub.
