Costco has been confusing me with their seasonal layouts...in the past, Halloween/Xmas stuff was front of store/impulse position, but lately they have been stocking seasonal in the back near deli/bakery. I found these as well as the gardening stuff up front near registers, even though this seasonal stuff should be near the back. I think these workbenches would normally be near automotive.

Saw this in-store a couple days ago and it looks really nice. I made a passing comment about it to my wife and she just rolled her eyes at me and started complaining about all the crap I have and how buying this "for organization" won't help with any of that.... lol

Same. But then she said she should get one, not me. Thankfully truck was already full and no way to get it home. What ZIP are you in...good to know it wasn't just a special purchase for my store?

That's a pretty dumb design really, with the front posts being needlessly tall and the sides being blocked. The drawer is also open on the sides, so if you do anything dusty (cutting wood, for instance) you'll end up with dust and whatnot in the drawer. It's attractive (if you like Pittsburgh colors) but not the most practical design. I'd also be a little concerned about that "composite" top/work surface.

Sam's Club has a few different Seville Classics workbenches in the $165-$250 range, at least some of which are height adjustable with thick wood tops. I guess everyone's needs are different, but those seem more flexible than this one.
