I literally just purchased this combo via Costco Direct last Thursday at $1499 for the TV/insurance. It is scheduled for delivery on the 10/09/24. Was able to go in on the Costco website and request a price adjustment from Costco today, so hopefully I'll be getting that $200 difference back in a few days.
And, these C3s are slightly upgraded from the original C3 model (the C3 originally had WIFI 5, while these have WIFI 6). I honestly couldn't see enough difference to be worth paying more for the C4.

Does any warranty for that matter with Oled tvs?
A: Allstate insurance does not cover burn in. On my 4 year 8 month old LG 65 B9 OLED, I recently went through the process (about a month ago). The end result was they do not cover burn in. Their messaging seemed to imply burn in occurred because of abuse or use outside the norms. Mine was an odd circular-ish area in the middle of the screen. It would seem a little more reasonable if I had some logo burn in, but it doesn't ever sit on any channel with the fixed logos. It general is just playing movies and occasional tv shows.
I knew this could happen, but I'm seriously reconsidering purchasing from Costco. The insurance is virtually meaningless. I think Best Buy is going to be a little more expensive than Allstate. If Best Buy extended warranty covers burn in, I think i'm going with them for a piece of mind this won't happen within the 5 years of a new LG purchase.

I've had OLED tv for a long time now, and honestly never heard of anyone having burnin. These tvs have things in place to prevent it and you can run different diagnostics to prevent it even still and again, if it's being used like a normal tv, you really aren't going to have an issue, certainly not within 5 years.
