Normally I would agree with you but you lost me at "be a good parent" part. There are many parents who wouldn't be able to afford even this. They are not bad parents. Rather, some of us who have too much money to spare, may be worse at parenting than them.

Not true. I use my iPad for work. Do not want my toddler smashing in my screen of having that looming concern. This is a great alternative to an iPad at a fraction of the cost. Some of us can buy the best of the best, but that's not always required 🙂
