We already have a basic kettle, but I'm buying this one for the temp.
[edit] Wait a minute -- check out the warranty coverage. It's two years for MECHANICAL defects only. Anything else is 90 days. Since the electronics are probably going to be the weak point with this (high temps, water vapor), that seems a bit sketchy. Am I interpreting that correctly? At best, I'd have 180 days if I purchased with AMEX.
