I got 2 last time. Both of them started to rust inside within a week.

The power LED constantly flashes, when it's off, might be annoying for some. I plugged it into a smart outlet and just keep it off when I'm not using it

Gets excellent reviews. I suspect it's a good deal for the price and I almost pulled the trigger last time it came up.

But it's not "beautiful" to my eye. I'd actually rather not have it on my counter.

Yeah I'd be interested if it wasn't for the gaudy "gold" accents

I have one of these. I like it except it occasionally changes from fahrenheit to Celsius and I have no idea how to change it back. Not a serious problem, but annoying anyway.

FYI - you can't turn off the beep without physically removing the hardware. Otherwise this is a great kettle.

No plastic comes in contact with the water. Solid feel, works very well.

My wife and I received a "Beautiful by Drew Barrymore" air fryer for Christmas a couple years back. It actually worked really well and was a great air fryer for a little over a year, until the touch controls crapped out. So stupid to put these flimsy, failure prone, capacitive touch controls on a device that is otherwise dead simple and would last for many, many years.

Have had one for a few months, no issues. Love how quick it heats up water without turning on the stove.

Honest question here. What's the point of these? Why not just put a cup of water in the microwave like my family does now?
It's more energy efficient, 0.04kwh vs 0.07kwh to heat up a cup of water. That adds up if you heat up water every day. At 40c/kwh that's $13 if you boil 3 cups of water every day for a year. You also don't have to guess how long to run the microwave for to boil the water, the kettle will shut off automatically when done. Instead of just a cup of water, you may also boil as much water as will fit into the kettle, for example for things like soup. This model also has a thermometer and will let you set specific temperatures to heat to. It can also hold water at that temperature.
