Own this kit, battery doesn't last long. Barely used it, not sure why the drill chuck got rusted. I prefer m12 fuel Hammer drill Over this all day every days and majority of my tools are flex. That just speak how head of the game Milwaukee is.

That sucks. I have several and the battery lasts a long time. Lifetime warranty on them if you call and register. Promo comes and go but I'm switching all to flex for the power alone.

Flex has a bad brand color scheme on Slickdeals. It always looks like an expired deal.

I started running Flex on one of my crews, everyone likes them. We also have Milwaukee, Makita 18v and Makita 40v In fleet and these tools are on par with all the big dogs. The 2.5ah battery is fine and will power this drill for a reasonable time with no problems , but we prefer them in other tools like orbital, oscillating multitool, nailers, etc. This is the best drill you'll get for the price point and one of the best at any price point. Flex is an old high-end German tool company that Chinese giant Chervon, who knows their way around tool and battery manufacturing, has taken over to showcase their skills. Chervon manufactures the house brand tools for Lowe's and Menard's (Kobalt and Masterforce, which are solid tools but often overlooked as an in-house brand) That badass Bosch glide miter saw? Masterminded by Chervon's engineers. Tons of your cherished Hilti tools? Also manufactured by Chervon. The EGO cordless outdoor tool line that constantly destroys the competition? Yup, Chervon. Don't overlook this company, they are cutting-edge, they do almost everything in house, and they've been doing it for a loooong time. Give them a try, you'll be impressed!
