The combo hardcase set you end up paying $266.22
and the 8Ah battery you end up paying $132.78
for a total of $399.00
If you sent the battery for pick up at a different store and left it or or returned it
you would pay just $266.22 (plus tax) for just the combo kit.
By contrast in the $339 deal from the original post there is one SKU for all the items they can't be picked up or returned separately thus it is not "hackable". In that deal you are paying an extra $72.78 to keep the 8Ah compared to the $266.22 hack. A good price if you want the 8Ah to use with a power hungry tool like a circular saw or a grinder. For use with the drill/driver the 5Ah ones that come with the set are more practically sized and provide ample power & run time.
