Not sure. what i'm wondering is if it's easy to replace the battery after it has worn out.

It might be this battery

I just can't find the model number of this deal to match with the supported model list on the battery page.

This is the biggest thing. These are basically disposable after a few years if the battery isn't replaceable.

I just got some APC ones for $60ish that use common batteries you can replace yourself.

Not only that, sometimes the battery cost is so high, you might as well buy a whole new one.

Rufus sayz:

"While I don't have specific details on the battery replacement process for this UPS, customers have shared their experiences which can help guide you:
A few customers mentioned the steps involved - unplugging the unit, turning it upside down, removing the bottom shell with a screwdriver, disconnecting the battery wires, noting the battery model number, and ordering a new replacement battery. One review provides more details - "Unplug your unit. Turn it upsidedown. Use a screwdriver to undo the four screws holding the bottom shell to the top shell. You may have to cut the sticker on one side to open it completely. Disconnect the wires from the battery by sliding the connectors off the terminals. Look for a model number on the battery. Order a new battery."
However, a couple of reviews caution that the battery size is odd and may be difficult to find replacements for. I'd recommend looking into a few compatible options that match the specifications before deciding on a replacement battery for your UPS."

I'd avoid unless I know the replacement cost and that replacement batteries are even available.

360 watts? My PC uses 100 watts just idling.
Also, It's simulated sine wave

Out of curiousity, I looked up the battery type, it's Sealed Lead Acid.

For this price, it's not bad for what it is. I wouldn't put a PC on it, but it works well as a battery backup for smaller things. For example I have a 600va Cyberpower that I have for my modem and wifi router just to avoid a reset on the occasional power blinks and until my generator can kick in for longer ones. There's a review on the page of a guy doing exactly what I am doing with the Amazon one, I concur with that review.

Does anyone know if it has a usb plug to hook up to the computer to let it know it's on battery? It says download software but not sure how the software would work if there's no usb connection between it and the computer.

For what it's worth I have multiple 600va backups (apc brand) on other computer setups and it works fine. I don't run on them, I just use it to tell the computer to shut down gracefully when the battery hits 10%.

Last month I switched to ecoflow power station. Aside from one random shutoff, it's been okay so far!

But the entire point of a UPS is to prevent random shut-offs. That sounds less reliable than wall power to me, you'd be better off plugging into the wall directly.

I was going to pull the trigger on this and a larger APC 1500VA unit but then I saw "this item is not returnable" on all the Amazon UPS items. If there's a problem, then what? I'll buy this local.

That is surprising so I checked the listing. When you click on the text stating that a small popup says:
"This item is non-returnable
This item is non-returnable, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement.
Read full return policy"

The last bit is a link to this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/cu...ret_policy

With a further link to "Items that Can't be Returned"
https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/cu...A9B5PCJB5F

The listing says
"This item is non-returnable
This item is non-returnable, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement."

So I used AI thing that's apparently replaced the Customer Questions section about the warranty and it said:
"While the product information does not explicitly mention the warranty duration, customers have mentioned that the UPS comes with a 1 year warranty. However, they have expressed difficulties in claiming the warranty when the product fails within this period. A few customers also reported issues with the product stopping working before the 1 year mark."

This does not look promising.
