Samsung must have some pretty high incentive money on these( and the QN900C as well) as they are being highly discounted on remaining inventory
I bought the 65" QN800C at the Best Buy outlet for $699 last week. Its a VA panel
The 75" may be an IPS/ADS panel though
how do you like it? I've been using a 65-inch QN800B as my 8k monitor for the last 1.5 years. I think it's incredible as a monitor. Very black blacks. Very bright whites. I say this as someone with a 77G3 sitting on an adjacent wall 7 feet away.

Seems like a great set...it was a completely whim purchase due to the low price and so I have it in my home office
I agree with you...blacks are great and it gets pretty bright
I have an OLED..Sony A95L and the Samsung is not that level of black
I also have a Hisense U8K and I dont think Samsung QN800C gets as bright..but it is a more refined TV than the Hisense with upscaling and off angle viewing
The problem with 8K TVs is they look great with 8K content (If you can find it)
4K is upgraded to near 8K but 1080p/720p looks like crap and 480 looks like TV from the 1950s.

That is simply not true, in my experience, with owning the Samsung QN800C
The QN800C looks great and frankly much better than the Hisense U8, that I also own, at upscaling lower resolution images

Regular Tv watching....
I have a QN90a and QN90C as well in my home
Its at least as good as those and I would say that it upscales low quality content( 720P and 1080i) better than the QN90A does
It also seems to get brighter in HDR content
Not as bright as the Hisense U8...but close and lower quality content looks much better on the Samsung than the Hisense

And yes I am enjoying the TV, it was a fire sale deal in my opinion
